Here goes nothing...
So, I used to have a blog, but I can't remember my access information to get into it. Guess what it was.. A weight loss blog. Didn't last very long at all. I'm highly disappointed in that and vow that this journey will continue (probably for my lifetime). I've decided to make small goals for myself. Right now, my goal for the rest of March is to work out at least 25 minutes 5 days a week. 25 minutes doesn't seem like very long, I know. However, my workout is consisting of Jillian Micheals 30 Day Shred. If you don't know what this is, it is circut training. Non-stop for 25 minutes. A warm up followed by 3 circuts consisting of 3 minutes strength, 2 minutes cardio, and 1 minute abs each. It of course ends with a cool down. I started this week and hit my goal!! Yay Me! I will keep it up. I know it. I've been working out in the mornings. I find it easier to meet my goal if I do my workout first thing and get it out of the way. As far as the workout itself goes, I find that they stop in between each segment. They only stop for less than 5 seconds as Jillian is explaing what to do next. At first I stopped with them, now I have continued to move by either walking in place, jogging in place or shaking my booty a bit. I have only done level one and have been following the beginner suggestions. I plan to do this until it becomes less of a workout and then move up to level 2 and so on. I have noticed that I was able to make it through all the squat and presses today when I couldn't on my first day. That's motivation right there! I haven't stepped on a scale yet or taken measurements. I plan to do so soon, but have to purchase a scale first. I have been trying to cut back on my portions that I eat, but the food stuff will come in stronger after I make a habit of this working out stuff. I really want to get the Kinect for our X-Box and get some fun workout in that way too. Alright, that's it for now. Time to get some cleaning done around this place (that counts as exercise too right?). Bye for now!!
