Hopefully this blog will include many more ups than downs as I embark on my weight loss journey. While my posts will be centered around my accoplishments (and possibly failures) of losing weight, I will also post of everyday things. Read on and hopefully enjoy!

I did it!
So, I missed my work out yesterday morning, but told myself I would do it after work for sure. Then, throughout the day I found myself debating on whether or not I was going to do it. I was letting life get in the way thinking of all the things I need to get done this week that don't include working out. Well, I told myself to shut it!! After work I went to the grocery store and as soon as I got home I did my workout. Thanks to my loving husband who made dinner while I was working up a sweat!! Yummy chicken fajitas!! Mmmm!! Today is my off day for two reasons 1) it's my husband's birthday, so after work I am taking him to dinner and then I must pack some more (we are moving on Saturday) and 2) I stayed up late to watch the Bachelor finale and wasn't able to crawl out of bed to get it done this morning. By the way.. I'm disappointed with Emily. Poor Brad. He seems to love her so much and she just seems unsure. Hopefully it works out for them tho-.

Fun Sunday, Ugh to Monday
So, yesterday (Sunday) was my off day. No working out. My husband's birthday is coming up so we went and celebrated with his mom, step dad, and sister and Dave and Buster's. It was everyone's first time there. We had a ton of fun. And, I spent about 3 straight hours up on my feet. That has to count for something right. I feel I mad a decent food choice though. Build your own chicken tacos. I used barely any cheese and no sour cream or guac. They were actually pretty delicious! Then I ended the night with laundry and packing. Another couple of chores that involve physical activity!! I know it's best to eat small meals about 5 times a day when you are trying to loose weight, but I was full from my chicken taco lunch all day and didn't eat anything else. I didn't want to eat for the sake of eating when I wasn't hungry. Hopefully that doesn't reflect negativly on my weight. Oh, and, pictures were taken while we were there of course. What a motivator!! I look disgustingly big. That has got to change.
I planned on waking up early to work out this morning, but was not successful. I'm thinking it was because I didn't go to bed early enough, which was a result of sleeping in due to being child free yesterday. And, to make matters worse I am starting out the day with a hot chocolate. Oh well, a hot beverage is needed and the coffee at my work is NASTY! At least its a small hot chocolate. Tonight's agenda will include my missed workout from this morning and probably more packing. We are moving in less than a week!!! Happy Monday! Hopefully the day improves from this morning (I was late to work.. due to being so tired from staying up late...).

Here goes nothing...
So, I used to have a blog, but I can't remember my access information to get into it. Guess what it was.. A weight loss blog. Didn't last very long at all. I'm highly disappointed in that and vow that this journey will continue (probably for my lifetime). I've decided to make small goals for myself. Right now, my goal for the rest of March is to work out at least 25 minutes 5 days a week. 25 minutes doesn't seem like very long, I know. However, my workout is consisting of Jillian Micheals 30 Day Shred. If you don't know what this is, it is circut training. Non-stop for 25 minutes. A warm up followed by 3 circuts consisting of 3 minutes strength, 2 minutes cardio, and 1 minute abs each. It of course ends with a cool down. I started this week and hit my goal!! Yay Me! I will keep it up. I know it. I've been working out in the mornings. I find it easier to meet my goal if I do my workout first thing and get it out of the way. As far as the workout itself goes, I find that they stop in between each segment. They only stop for less than 5 seconds as Jillian is explaing what to do next. At first I stopped with them, now I have continued to move by either walking in place, jogging in place or shaking my booty a bit. I have only done level one and have been following the beginner suggestions. I plan to do this until it becomes less of a workout and then move up to level 2 and so on. I have noticed that I was able to make it through all the squat and presses today when I couldn't on my first day. That's motivation right there! I haven't stepped on a scale yet or taken measurements. I plan to do so soon, but have to purchase a scale first. I have been trying to cut back on my portions that I eat, but the food stuff will come in stronger after I make a habit of this working out stuff. I really want to get the Kinect for our X-Box and get some fun workout in that way too. Alright, that's it for now. Time to get some cleaning done around this place (that counts as exercise too right?). Bye for now!!
